To sum up all the forums everywhere into one simple post:  This card functions under both Tiger and Leopard with no QE / CE .  Resolution switching can be achieved with Callisto drivers, I used Callisto 006 for this.  Remember Callisto 003 is mostly for Laptops, and 006 is the newest regular version.  Callisto 005 is pretty much usless except on very particular chipsets.

    For those of you thinking that you might find a driver, don't bother the projects to enable this card using the ATIRadeon8500.kext were all dropped as this driver was found to be totally incomplete.  There will never be a functional driver enabling  QE / CE for this card.
